First Offense ADLRO Revocation 

    If the ADLRO revokes your driving privileges, and:

       1.    This is your first offense (or you had no other prior alcohol enforcement contacts in the 

                five year period preceding the date of this arrest); and 

       2.    You took, and failed, an alcohol concentration test (breath and/or blood);

the ADLRO will order you to "keep an ignition interlock device installed and operating in any vehicle [you] operate" during a one-year revocation period.  Except as provided in HRS Section 291E-5, installation and maintenance of the ignition interlock device shall be at your own expense. T
